  13. For Q38, may I know why "(A) Beta particle decay occurs when a proton changes into a neutron." is incorrect? Thank you!

    1. Thank you for your kind explanation, Sir. So, does that mean that when the question mentions Beta particle, I should assume it's referring to an electron instead of a positron?

    2. in general, yes. But we should also remember that beta may also be positive at times.
