Physics 9702 Past Exam Paper Worked Solutions 2016 - 2021
On this page, links for the worked solutions of past examination papers for A-Level Physics 9702 as from the year 2016 (latest change in syllabus as of now).

Note that in the solution given, we are only considering the momentum after collision.
The questions could also be solved as follows:
Sum of vertical momentum before explosion = Sum of vertical momentum after collision
0 = 3.0M ×7.0 + [(2.0M × –6.0 sinθ)+ (1.5M × –8.0 sinθ)]
Here, the upward direction is taken as positive and the downward direction as negative.
